Twitter and live phone interviews / call ins

There have been two new introductions to the radio shows over the past few weeks

Twitter

On various show i will tweet what i ham playing live on my twitter account
I wil either type the@ artist and the song, if i miss a few, its just@ artists, who i have just played.
Since i have been using Twitter more, i have had more hits and more people finding me.
I promote reviews, releases on my feed, depends what i find out and think of at the time

Live phone calls

I can now broadcast live phones in on live show
Over the last few months i had a magazine website owner, Rob from Dso Audio,  introduce his playlist and electro producer, John Costello on the phone about the London electro gig, Reproduktion 13. I was stunned at the clarity.

Monthly Compilation for charity

I have been toying with the idea of selling a form of the monthly compilation. So far, there have been two compilations, March and April and already have some submission for May. Then next step is to arrange a compilation for sale, probably a 10 track version of the compilation. Due to the nature of the non profit on Music World Radio, we are unable to sell compilations, unless people donate. Therefore the compilation finances are going to charity. Now this is a big field but the one subject that is always high  on the list is Cancer. This is my first choice for person reasons, mainly relations and friends. Someone pointed out that people out on the field as in volunteers is also worthly of attention So, research charity and on the field charity on the two fields that have to mesh Why? Finally, i can now play vinyl records again on radio

Before the headlines, an update.... Co Presenter The radio variety show has always been able to evolve or move in various directions. Reason for the difficult task of finding a good name for the show In April 2015, i found a co presenters, Educational publisher and graphic designer, Darren Coles. We began messing about on radio, and wanted to come up with a duo name. For some reason, animals come into conversation and we ended up with, Dog and Crow. I am Dog and Darren is Crow. Partly the reason, for this is because, Darren, can do a wicked, Crow sound and i can do a Dog one Show HQ has moved again A place i have been waiting for over a year finally landed. My father knew of a couple who were to rent a house. I was in the position to move in, but heard nothing for long time. (Competition) April compilation competition

The Debut ( Poster is the March edition compilation) March 11th was the debut of the monthly compilation competition.  This is to give away an entire playlist i play on the night of the show. This is to showcase talent, who have been played on the radio shows or new submissions. Many people like the idea and so the once a month competition was born The winner last night, Lisa Ann, from, Massechusettes. She won the 22 songs ( 20 plus two bonus) which will be sent to her in due course Update ( 27th March) New blog coming up the week before the April show.  This will include, images of artists, the song and link to artist profile Update ( 23rd March) Song on Soundcloud An option for artists.  When you send or have already sent a song for the monthly compilation and you want people to listen to it.   We can upload it to our MusicSubmission Soundcloud profile.
