Little Brother Eli

To describe LBE in the simplest terms would be to take Grass Routes music and intertwine the styles of pop and rock. One of the first places we saw them was their launch party at the Bullingdon, Oxford. When Dog heard them it reminded him of the music in the film soundtrack to 'Oh Brother Where Art Thou'. Crow is more critical than I am and a finally tuned ear. The members always look like they are dancing on hot plates and just general great time to be had when you are dancing to them. They are the whole package: great writing, projection, performance and showmanship. What more could you ask for? Signed to a label perhaps? Great writing, projection, performance and showmanship. What more could you ask for? Signed to a label perhaps? The one thing aside from all the above that stands out, is front man Alex. There is a reason why he is a front man. Great stage presence, he never stops moving and quite a unique vocal style! Imagine driving a fast car turning around sharp bends whilst fully in control, twisting and turning but never going out of key. Enough Typing,  Evidence: Acoustic Gold You see, we have a habit of filming performances   Crow was on the case with his s5. This is the version of the band he likes the most.  The band were playing a 30 minute stripped down Acoustic set at the Truck Store Record shop. This is on Cowley Road near opposite the Bullingdon venue in Oxford, where they were playing after.  We were sat in the Mostro coffee shop getting a buzz from the Caffeine lab, getting high from a front row seat to LBE in action!

Who Do You? This was over the road after the Acoustic set above. The date is June 26th 2016. One of the best gigs we have been to in a long time. The place was packed, stoaked, n fire, and we couldn't stop moving
New Song: All My Ways The guys headlined BBC Oxford Introducing: Uprising. There were a lot of fresh ears. Dog was solo on this night This band is incredible and that's pretty rare to say. We are both very broad tastes in music but not many bands can make instant classics when they wirte fresh music. The whole band looks as though they are jamming, having a good time, which gets the crowd going. Not many bands like them around. this band is up there with some big bands on major labels. These guys should be up there, seriously One band to support as that's the only way they will stay around.
They have since done two live Chistmas Parties, one they filmed and released. As part of their live album funding champagne the wife and I paid to have the band perform live in our living room.
