Arists Spotlight: 68-75 The Reflection of Decades Past to Modern Time.rtf

So many influences go into this music. As Dog describes their music " A Cross between Led Zeppelin and Lenny Kravitz.  Lead singer Suzanne, Guitarist Andrew, Wolf on bass and Wolf-bass Mark-drummer ( US), John-drummer ( UK) have bought forward their reflections of decades past to modern day. The first time we heard them was Playing with Fire, from their debut ep. Dog was instantly hooked. Not many bands record albums, especially unsigned and self financed, mainly ep s or singles. Funk Rockers from Atlanta, Georgia, have done just that. Their songs which are evident in the audio and video below are a testament to their writing, will power, great music, guitar and vocal power, especially from Suzanne Sledge's vocal range and the sounds they reflect from the years 1968 - 1975 Wait a minute, you think they are a cover band? oooh no. They might play the odd cover as many bands do, however, they play all their own material and juice it is too.  As always after listening and playing the bands music, we wanted them to talk about the music themselves. They agreed to leap on Skype and have a chinwag as we say here in the shires. This is within a two hour show. It's about 30 minutes with Suzanne( Vocals), Andrew (Guitarist ) and talking about their song. Then came the monstrous debut album, Stay on the Ride.  Wall to wall classics including, Camels Back, Deal with the Devil, Dog tooth and more. I assumed that some tracks from their previous ep would be on the album. As it turns out they were all fresh Both of these interviews were before Crow cames along. Along came the album and Andrew managed to squeeze the guitar audio next to Suzannes powerful tubes Suzanne loves the U.K so much, she wanted t see her fans. They managed what few bands can and toured the U.K back in 2015. Unfortunately, Dog couldn't get to any dates, but there will another time of course :) To buy the album on Itunes( Couldn't find an embedded one) Video Evidence: Some Footage from the U.K Tour This was the first tour the band did on their own, meeting fans along the way Going Right back to their first ep and one of Dogs favourite songs, Bulletproof.
