I thought i would make a blog on this instead of a Facebook thread because in many ways people do not understand how to run or basically, think its a good idea then realised is takes up too much time With a group, which is not an artists page or an account page, people can join. There are many forms of groups, to buy and sell, music of many kinds, could be about anything. Rules Yes, no one likes them but to be fair if you have say 5 admin on one group, and you disgus things and when the group starts growing you realise you need something in place. Admin You need people to control a group, there is no two ways about it.  Also, you have to be able to take negative and positives from people aka Feedback. Depends also, how far reaching your group is, it for everyone or just the local community? People joining Before people join, is it best to send them the guidelines of the group. I have always been a big fan of animation, puppetry or animatronics of some description and I love creative work.  My and my wife watched The Incredibles last night, which i have not seen for a number of years This is really like a bond style film, in superheros form. This is a Disney and Pixar colaboration from 2004, which is 8 years ago and its still looks fantastic now. When executed right, animination does not age.   I can't believe how good the film is, especially the powers they have. I know you can do loads of thing with animation, well the possiblities are endless, but its good when its concentrated in film form, with an idea, a plan and a script and of courses, voices. It took me half the film to realise the wife is played by Holly Hunter. It was driving me made, its that accent, i thought, who on earth is it.....then, of course, DOH, looked at the cover, lol. Aside from Ice man,voiced by, Samuel Jackson, whos voice you could recognise in a crowded football stadi...

Since the summer i created a radio promotion. This started as a spur of the moment idea to replace the show jingle. The was changed,  because playing a different song on very show might confuse people. I thought what could be a something simple and does not take up all the show? I thought, 4 weeks is enough for one album, that is 8 shows.  I then realised that i could try voiceover music, which i had not attempted before as i have learnt playing the song to loud, you can't hear both music and voice.  When i replaced my mixer, it was better to control and the voiceover music works, so that was added to the promotion. I then added the voiceover song at the end of the show, either in full or play to fade out The top opening show is in album order and the voiceover is randomly chosen So far, albums by Lee Negin , Blackdoghat , Rattlin Bone, Gypsy Lee Pistolero ,  Against all Will  and now 68-75 are going to be apart if this series. Motorcycle Man When you make a video for a particular song, you want to use as much original shot footage as possible.  You also want to put yourself in the frame, unless you have no footage???? I managed to find footage, in the public domain and got permission from someone on youtube to use his footage for the video.  As Chris Saffle put, it needed something more personal in the video, which i wanted to do but where....then..... I remembered recording a video not long after, Pirates in My Sink, in the ' Rum Room' which i completed by never used as i was looking down at the lyrics book to much.  I went through the song once  as i thought i never completed it Going back i decided to put myself in the Chorus sections and other footage around it There is a first cut, which i am going to send to the Youtube user to make sure he is fine with the footage, then upload it. Morning everyone, This is the next song i am promoting inbetween cleaning and gardening and finding a job.   Motorcycle Man is the next after Pirates in My Sink that i recorded a few months ago and then unbeknown to me, i got sent a remix of it by local musician, The Strummer Room Project. He used my live acoustic recording of the song for the basis of the remix, without single files, which is interested...but many people like it. Since i got good feedback so far for my Halloween show trailer on Youtube as i used public Domain Footage, i thought i would do this for all my songs.  That being said, it takes time to trail though loads of films and trailers with no copyright.  What i have also done is contact this motorcyclist on Youtube, who has a lot of footage of motoring down highways on his bike. This is what i actually needed,  as most footage i come across either is not long enough, has website address splashed across them, even on Public Domain footage or the ...

Over the last 10 years, there has been a growing trend of filmremakes.  I have only i have seen was the Texas Chainsaw Massacure. This was before everyone caught the remake bug.  This remake was different in the fact some scenes were changed from the original, or should i say actions in the scenes. From when that was released until now, practically every classic horror film has been remade. Yes you have probably guessed it, so has Nightmare on Elm street, which is in my opinion the worst film crime ever. In general, lets take a look at why films get remake. If it was actors age?, take Footloose for example, the original was in the mid 80s and they remade and released that in 2011.  Is it because of the original cast are ageing and they suggest a film gets remade or another version of a new generation??  Me as a film fan, do not see the sense in remaking classics. Why don't companies, instead of throwing millions at directors to remake films, just remaster the or...

We have now got a Blueray player and for the first time watched a Blueray film we bought.  We have been wanting to see Mission Impossible 4 for a while as we have seen all the others and Mission Impossible 3 was shockingly good. It makes me wonder with the bond films, now, in the present time.  I have nothing against Daniel Craig, i liked Casino Royale, but i think James Bond franchise is losing steam a bit and something is missing We watched Mission Impossible 4 tonight and i am not comparing one against the other in terms of the older bond films here.  MI as films have only been in the film world since 1996. Its the more recent bond productions that am questioning.  You can almost guarantee a hit with Tom Cruise. When he releases another MI, you know your going to get entertainment and he never lets you down. Tom Cruise seems to know every move you want to see. There is never a dull moment, its intelligent in the way of actions scenes, many things are unexpect...
