I just realised this app still existed. It's been a while.   I created a website which is the reason I have not updated this.  I maybe using this again for reviews because the company I use for the server is looking to close down. Around 6 years, i met Jet Noir ( Different name at the time) classically trained musician, with a great talent and stunning looks. She has recorded a lot of music, Trance and eclectic dance tunes over the last 5 years, I have met her a few times, in a music and non music capacity and at some point i knew joining a band was going to happen. About 10 years ago, she was in a all girl, Punk band, Psycho Bambi.  After the band split, Jet decided go the electro music direction. Over the last few years, she managed to push her music forward and the quality reached new highets  Her debut album, Emotional Chess, is the first release to have a high production value in this style.  It suprised a lot of people and the beginning of a new age for Jet Noir. November 2012, was the first time in 5 years she had actually appeared on a radio show in person( As far as i know). In the golden ages of Punk, Open Sore Sprang up from the waistslands of England. This involved, Sean Burke, guitarist, which was before, Tubeway Army.  As many millions of people know, Tubeway Army was fronted by Gary Numan. Look at the videos and Sean Burke is the guitarists in the frame This all started when Michelle Griffin, found me out and told Sean and i how i got a Facebook message from Sean. One of those golden moments in music.  I had to look twice at the message.  From what i know, Open Sore have not been doing much over the last few years. Mainly in the 70s with rehearsal tapes, then in 2009, they supported The Fall, which was recorded. To the present day, with what was recorded, including two songs from late 70s rehearal tapes, cleaned up,, is By Royal Appointment. Introduction I love music, receiving music submissions and broadcasting on radio. although it's not paid (It would be nice :) Contributing to the radio show cause Radio shows cost money to run. I love doing it and I use my wages to pay for it, but to move the show, takes more finances. Although I have had donations towards the running, it is on going Do you want to contribute, and think how can i? A few examples These were donated by a musician The Micromixer is now being used for monthly and outside broadcasts. It runs on batteries which is an added cost, which I was not expecting Financial donations There have been a few £10 and £20 donations, so thankyou for this, since September. To give you an idea, it costs £60 a month to run the show. Some of this is labour time. To make the Radio Variety Show more visual, i thought about what videos to do.  i now use my ipad to show digital releases as well as hard copies and merchanise i receive. Among the Echoes Gig at the Flapper, Birmingham On August 17th,  me and Rhonda are attending the Among the Echos gig, at the Flappee in Birmingham. I thought, this time, lets have a chat with the band, The Frappe is right next to the canal.  We can sit outside, have a few beers and record an interview. I asked Ian, the front man, about doing a band interview at the gig. Broadcasting live It would be cool it broadcast the interview live on radio. Will have to see whether or not wifi is available and my phone is upto the task Prerecording This goes back before i did radio. When i ran a short lived printed magazine, i used to audio record interview with bands. If broadcasting live is not possible, then prerecording it will be. Video is growing ever more popular on the net, especially Youtube, being more of a social networking with vlogging. Chris Pirillo who just hosted the first ever Vloggerfair, in Seatle, U.S.A has spured me on to start again, creating vlogs and uploading good quality performances from radio shows I have been over this on channels so many times, stop, started, stop, started and i really got fed up with poor quality live streaming, which was the whole point at the time But, times roll on and now have a few more devices and ideas. One sticking area was reviewing digital music, which of course, there is no hard copy to show. I have now found a way round that problem ,so i can show something of the music. I attempt to do one take of most videos, probably most of them on my phone. I then transfer to the pc and upload.  At first HD, was what i wanted to upload in, but. oh lord, does it take ages to upload, even about 8 minutes of footage The new vlogs are going to be one take, so...
