DJ Readman History of Record Shop Series and More

In the golden ages of Punk, Open Sore Sprang up from the waistslands of England. This involved, Sean Burke, guitarist, which was before, Tubeway Army.  As many millions of people know, Tubeway Army was fronted by Gary Numan. Look at the videos and Sean Burke is the guitarists in the frame This all started when Michelle Griffin, found me out and told Sean and i how i got a Facebook message from Sean. One of those golden moments in music.  I had to look twice at the message.  From what i know, Open Sore have not been doing much over the last few years. Mainly in the 70s with rehearsal tapes, then in 2009, they supported The Fall, which was recorded. To the present day, with what was recorded, including two songs from late 70s rehearal tapes, cleaned up,, is By Royal Appointment. Open Sore is a Punk band, not an indie band, but straight down the middle Punk (What i call it)  First release in 36 years for the band. This all came about when Sean Burke came back ...

Yes, not blogged for a while. The reason for this. BODFEST I have done a lot with Bodfest over the last two weeks, mainly radio shows. interviewing and filming performances leading and at Bodfest. Every performance i saw was fantastic, even i the searing heat. The pub runs out of beer, everyone run out of food, must be a good thing? The start off the week, we did a live broadcast with, Chris Oakes, who invited me to Northgate Studios, in Banbury. This was the first live broadcast from another locationdone in a number of years.  This was before the festival, with live performance by Punch Drunk Monkey Club. Chris was co presenting and the whole show was about Bodfest The festival day Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit was packed.  Very busy day with house sitting as well. I like the fact my studio is compact, and everything i could carry.  Got up there via a lift, found Chris and my HQ for the next few hours. I had a pub table by the stage, got there just gone midday. ...

Video is growing ever more popular on the net, especially Youtube, being more of a social networking with vlogging. Chris Pirillo who just hosted the first ever Vloggerfair, in Seatle, U.S.A has spured me on to start again, creating vlogs and uploading good quality performances from radio shows I have been over this on channels so many times, stop, started, stop, started and i really got fed up with poor quality live streaming, which was the whole point at the time But, times roll on and now have a few more devices and ideas. One sticking area was reviewing digital music, which of course, there is no hard copy to show. I have now found a way round that problem ,so i can show something of the music. I attempt to do one take of most videos, probably most of them on my phone. I then transfer to the pc and upload.  At first HD, was what i wanted to upload in, but. oh lord, does it take ages to upload, even about 8 minutes of footage The new vlogs are going to be one take, so...
