68 75 Open Show artist for Feburary 2014

Not many bands record albums, especially unsigned and self financed, mainly eps or singles. Funk Rockers from Atlanta, Georgia, 68 75,have done just that.
Their new album, Stay on the Ride, is a testament to their writing, will power, great music, guitar work by Andrew and the powerful vocal range by Suzanne Sledge and the sounds they reflect from 1968 - 1975

Their album is flying off the vertual shelves, which is not suprising. Very catch, really does reflect the era of music they love.  I told them once that i had not long seen the film ,Devils Rejects. The film has a 70's progressive rock sound track and i can imagine the band music on the film, would fit a film perfectly
The music is that good, and again. the loud powerful vocals of Suzy, ripps through your soul like a hurricane. Probablythe most power vocalist i have heard in this style for some years.
I can't praise this band highly enough for their work. Their past two eps are as powerful in sound and vocal range.
The show on the link is the second show to feature the band. 
The Open Show Promotion has a song from an album or a number of singles, right after the jingle. Then thoughout the show, a song i chosen to go under Voiceover segments. Then that song is played in full at the end of the show

Since I have been helping to promote local record shops Strummer Room Records and new Mac’s Music Store here in Banbury  (One way of being involved), It occurred to me that not much attention historically is being paid towards record shops.  As a former owner of record shop Demand  Records ( still dabble with online vinyl album sales)(I miss it like crazy), I thought I would focus on this.  I realised recently that my shop is a part of. Finally, i can now play vinyl records again on radio

Before the headlines, an update.... Co Presenter The radio variety show has always been able to evolve or move in various directions. Reason for the difficult task of finding a good name for the show In April 2015, i found a co presenters, Educational publisher and graphic designer, Darren Coles. We began messing about on radio, and wanted to come up with a duo name. For some reason, animals come into conversation and we ended up with, Dog and Crow. I am Dog and Darren is Crow. Partly the reason, for this is because, Darren, can do a wicked, Crow sound and i can do a Dog one Show HQ has moved again A place i have been waiting for over a year finally landed. The travel guide of Fun For Louis, aka Louis Cole

Back in the day, when TV and traveling around the world to different places was kind of everywhere, it was really entertaining, This has all but gone from the main British channels. One TV series that stood out was " The Rough Guide" taking you to the non tourist area's, well places where they allowed TV cameras That was the 1990s, now fast forward to 2014/2015 Youtube is now the place for many people to watch, essentially, TV. At the start, Youtube is not what it is now. However, more people are vlogging ( Short for video blog), comedy and documentaries. I am not a fan of collecting loads of people on Youtube and subscribing, as there is a lot of channels with the same stuff.
